How descriptive is philosophy?

Svenja Flaßpöhler is one of the most important philosophical voices in Germany with a strong commitment to social discourse. The editor-in-chief of "Philosophie Magazin" was a literary critic on the television programme "Buchzeit" (3 Sat) until 2016, senior editor for literature and the humanities at "Deutschlandfunk Kultur" until 2017 and has also headed the Phil.cologne programme since 2013 (with Gert Scobel, among others). Her books have been translated into Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Korean. In addition to topics of knowledge transfer and the relationship between analogue and digital, she is also interested in educational issues and their significance for modern society. Svenja Flaßpöhler is a guest at the foundations as part of the "Personalities in dialogue" series in cooperation with MDR Kultur.
