For primary schools and day care centres
Our educational programme invites primary school and day-care groups to explore and (re)discover this historic cultural monument with its Historic Orphanage, Chamber of Wonders, Scenic Library and farm buildings.
For secondary schools
Our offers for secondary levels I and II provide the opportunity to engage with the themes, places and sources of the Francke Foundations.
For individual visitors under 35
We offer changing workshop programmes and evening programmes for youths and young adults. The focus of these offers is the respective annual exhibition.
History Lab Pre-Modernity
Practical, well-founded, compact. Our history lab introduces students to the work of historians by focusing on early modern history. The students are assisted by experts from the research department, the archive, the library and the museum.
Young people from Saxony-Anhalt spend a week in the autumn holidays researching a historical topic. They explore the archive and library, talk to experts and present their results.
Family hour at the museum
The family hour always takes a closer look at special treasures and stories of the foundations on the first Sunday of the month.
