Bible-Tuesday

The Bible Tuesdays are open to anyone who is interested in the Bible.

No prior knowledge is necessary. Curiosity and interest in the book of books are sufficient - together with the joy of discovering and discussing stories and texts from ancient times in their relevance today in a small and open-minded group. It is always amazing how words from ancient times speak directly into our time in their wisdom!

The topics of the evenings are usually based on the theme of the year.
From the end of February, we will therefore be focussing on »Spielraum« (place to play, place to manouver) and »Anschaulichkeit« (vividness, visualisation). We want to start by looking at the biblical places that are described as God's dwelling places: the tabernacle that accompanied the biblical people of Israel through the desert and the Jerusalem temple with all the symbols that can be found in it. We hope to discover traces of God's presence here and now - even if God seems rather distant and absent to some in these times.
