The former printing office of the Francke Foundations

In March 2021, the old print shop building was handed over to its new use as one of the last renovated buildings of the Francke Foundations. Originally built as a magazine for the Cansteinsche Bibelanstalt in 1744, Bibles were printed here for the Cansteinsche Bibelanstalt from 1830. Today, the building again serves as a magazine, but also as a place for events, exhibitions and educational work. The guided tour provides insight into the premises of the building ensemble on the traces of its former and current use.
