Teaching and Qualification Work

The staff unit is connected with teaching at the Institute for History of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. The following qualification work is currently being supervised.
David Loeblich: Das frühe Freitischwesen am Halleschen Waisenhaus (1696–1714) (Master thesis)
Gabriele Bellinzona: Die dänisch-englisch-hallesche Mission in Tranquebar und ihre Beziehung zum Katholizismus und den anderen christlichen Konfessionen (Dissertation, Graduiertenkolleg Interkonfessionalität in der Frühen Neuzeit, Universität Hamburg)
Björn Schmalz: Samuel Urlsperger (1685-1772). Pietistische Weltsicht(en) im 18. Jahrhundert (Habilitation)
Together with the Chair of Early Modern History, a research and graduate colloquium and courses are held regularly.
In addition, students will be involved in the development of a cabinet exhibition with accompanying publication in the »Kleine Schriften« series at the Verlag der Franckeschen Stiftungen through the development of a topic in courses.
