WE take action

From 21 September to 9 November, our city will become a lively hub of culture – with readings, concerts, theatre performances and creative activities. A colourful programme that connects people and takes a stand.

The Francke Foundations will be participating in the WIR Festival with various event formats:

• 11 October 2025, 1 p.m. – »Without Words«, poetry workshop with poet Nadja Küchenmeister (Berlin)
• 15 October 2025, 5:30 p.m. – »World Views II: Understanding Colours«, museum workshop for stories, objects and perspectives
• 30 October 2025, 6 p.m. – »Facts or Fake News«, House of Commons debate on misinformation, media and freedom of expression
• 5 November 2025, 5.30 p.m. – »World Views III: Changing Perspectives«
• 22 November 2025, 1:00 p.m. – »World Views IV: Symbols and Stories«
