Five steps to the perfect conference venue

View of the Freylinghausen Hall

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

the Francke Foundations follow the efforts of the state of Saxony-Anhalt to contain the corona virus. The official regulations apply to the implementation of events.

The 6th Containment Ordinance of the State of Saxony-Anhalt contains further relaxations for the cultural sector. Meetings, seminars, specialist events, but also expressly guided tours, and equally expressly events organised by organisations and institutions can - subject to compliance with the specially regulated hygiene rules and with an appropriate concept - be held with up to 100 participants with immediate effect, and from 1 July with up to 250 participants.

Compliance with the hygiene regulations laid down in the house rules is still mandatory. Please observe the resulting current room seating arrangements while observing the 1.50 metre distance rule:

Freylinghausen Hall 450qm - cinema seating for 45 persons

English Hall 100qm - cinema seating for 14 people

America Room 56qm - cinema seating for 14 people

Russia Room 40qm - central table group for 6 persons

India Room 40qm - central table group for 6 persons

It is not possible to change this seating arrangement. For the time being, we cannot offer catering services.

We would like to point out that the wearing of a mouth and nose protector is obligatory in the traffic areas throughout the building. This can be removed in the rooms during the event. We kindly ask you to inform your guests in advance.

Our protection concept also provides for the keeping of a record sheet for all visitors to the Francke Foundations. Please find this data entry form here. It must be completed by each visitor and handed in to the counter staff in the entrance area on the day of the event.
In order to maintain distance control, admission can only be granted in small groups, which may result in waiting times at the entrance and exit.

Since the number of people who are allowed to stay in House 1 at the same time is limited, not all conference rooms are currently available at the same time.

With the conference floor in the Historical Orphanage, the Francke Foundations have an attractive conference venue in a place steeped in history. Meetings, conferences, concerts and events with up to 350 people can be organised without any problems. We provide event technology and can also arrange a culinary supply. The differently designed rooms can be rented individually or in any combination. Special offers such as guided tours through the site and the museums of the Francke Foundations (also in English, French or Russian) can be arranged.

Step 1

The list below will give you an overview of the available premises and the ensemble of the Francke Foundations. Think about the number of participants you can expect and choose the rooms that suit you the best. Please complete the contact form and send it by fax or e-mail to Babette Hahn. If you have any questions, please contact us at the above telephone number.

Step 2

We will contact you as soon as we receive your request to clarify the details. If you wish, we will make an appointment with you to inspect the premises on site and discuss your event with us. Otherwise, we will accept your registration and ask you about the technology you require and the type of catering you are planning. In addition, we need information about the start and end times of your event as well as any rehearsal, set-up and dismantling times. These are part of the calculation. After receiving this information, we will make you an offer.

Step 3

If our offer falls into your satisfaction, you will receive a contract from us, which you can sign and return to us. It is the very basis of our further cooperation. Depending on the scope and duration of your event, we would ask you to send us your desired programme or discuss it with us about two to three weeks before the date so that we can arrange everything that is necessary.

Step 4

We will contact you a few days before the date of the event and ask for any changes and details that have not yet been made.

Step 5

After your event you will receive an invoice from us for the services rendered.
