World views in front of the Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities

The interactive exhibition »Weltblicke. A museum workshop for stories, objects and perspectives« has been open in front of the Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities since 29 September. Together with volunteers from the Leipzig Mission from Papua New Guinea, Argentina, Tanzania and South India, as well as a group from the Tamil Heritage Foundation International, we took a look at the materials in the Chamber of Art and Curiosities during the opening workshop. Are they valuable or worthless, emotional or rational, natural or artificial? What do they remind us of and where would we classify our favourite material? In the interactive exhibition in front of the Wunderkammer, you can find your own answers at five stations, either alone or with a group, and are welcome to help shape the exhibition workshop.
