Night at the Museums

Pause in the magnificently illuminated Freylinghausen Hall

Music can touch us deeply, put us in high spirits or bring tears to our eyes - and yet at its core it is pure mathematics. It is amazing how much sounds influence us and direct our emotions. On Museum Night, this fascinating power of sound can be experienced, among other things, in the interactive course of the annual exhibition, in the experimental laboratory for the whole family, in the studio cinema with surprising film music scenes or also in a chamber of horrors full of bizarre, disturbing sound paintings. The highlight of the museum night is regularly the magnificently illuminated Freylinghausen Hall. Music complements the light to sound space and invites you to pause: the relaxing effect has been proven many times in studies. Try it out and see if it applies to you too.

Tickets have been on sale since 11 April. There will be no tickets at the box office this year. Children and young people up to and including the age of 18 will receive a free ticket.
