One of the highlights of the Night at the Museums every year is Bernd E. Gengelbach's light installation in the Freylinghausen Hall. The migration of birds, one of the most fascinating phenomena in terms of orientation, is the inspiration for this immersive light installation.
The theme of »orientation« is also creatively implemented in the imaginative children's and family programme and in short guided tours. One theme, many variations – let yourself be surprised. Another special feature every year is the picturesque illumination of the historic school town. The historic orphanage, the Francke monument and the Lindenhof shine impressively.
Enjoy this special atmosphere and recharge your batteries in the garden restaurant.
