Historic Library

As in a theatre, the books rest on the marbled shelves of the Library Hall Kulissenbibliothek in the oldest preserved secular library building, offering insights into the fascinating world of books in the 18th century.

The cabinet exhibition presents particularly magnificently illustrated volumes from the Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities´ reference library, which was once kept handy in the bookcase.
