The »Stammtisch Sprache« (language get-together) was launched in 2014 with the help of volunteers. People with a migrant background are very welcome. In small groups, participants review tasks from language courses, practise speaking freely, discuss letter texts and, if necessary, fill out forms. The Stammtisch is not intended as language instruction, but rather as an open and sociable support programme that offers a variety of opportunities for informal learning and exchange. At the same time as the Stammtisch, there are language courses in motion, which are designed to promote the linguistic development of preschool children. However, the Stammtisch is not only aimed at parents with preschool children. It is open to anyone who is interested. Childcare is also provided.
