On the first Sunday of every month, the family hour takes a closer look at very special treasures and stories of the foundations. The child-friendly tour takes a look behind the scenes of the museum and ends with a sociable hands-on activity.

Exterminator – Family tour through the annual exhibition!

Last chance to search for clues through the annual exhibition, where many mysteries will be solved: »300 Years of Curiosity«. There will be sorting competitions, hands-on stations to try out, and we will explain what the sea unicorn is all about.

Of bookworms and ink-eaters – The mysterious library

Creaking floorboards and the scent of old books welcome us to the historic backdrop library. We open leather book covers, decipher scribbled margin notes and try out a historic printing press.
