On the occasion of the 2026 Education Weeks Against Racism, the Krokoseum invites you to a special workshop: In cooperation with the Escola Popular at EKM e.V., children (between 6 and 10 years) will discover the fascinating world of capoeira and how human rights and the struggle for liberation became part of this fascinating tradition.
In the workshop, children will be immersed in the world of capoeira in a playful way: they will sing, play instruments and try out their first moves. We combine exciting stories, movement and music to make complex topics easily accessible. What does racism mean? How has colonial history shaped our world? And why is it important to stand up for equality and human dignity?
We look forward to welcoming curious explorers!
Registration is possible until 27 March 2026 at: blanca@escola-popular.de.
The workshop will be offered at two different times on this day. Please indicate your preferred time when registering. Thank you.
