»Encouraging stones« against fear

Students from the WBS TRAINING SCHOOL in Halle, which trains educators, visited the children's home and led several projects on the topic of resilience for our school beginners. For example, they talked about the feeling of fear with the hand puppets Skippi and Flippi, and the children compiled a list of things that scare them.

To help them face darkness and monsters, there was an »encouragement song« and afterwards the children made »encouragement stones« – for themselves and for another person.
These stones give courage and dispel fear as soon as you hold them firmly in your hand.
