A night full of light and sound
More than 1,500 guests made the foundations a crowd puller at the 2025 Night of the Museums in Halle. They enjoyed a colourful program – above all the immersive light installation by Bernd E. Gengelbach in the Freylinghausen Hall. It was accompanied by an atmospheric world premiere by Ivo Nitschke. The percussionist of the Staatskapelle der Bühnen Halle and Andreas Voß on cello and viola da gamba improvised, inspired by the aura of the original 18th-century Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities. Impressions of Night of the Museums are now available in a video!
