A multimedia installation and unique objects reveal the fascinating founding and impact history of August Hermann Francke’s work. What began as a poor school and orphanage expanded in a few decades into a comprehensive reform project with over 2,000 students, dedicated economic buildings, a hospital, and a pharmacy.
The cultural-historical collections in the Historic Library and Cabinet of Artefacts and Natural Curiosities were established, and Francke’s ideas spread far beyond Europe. His goal: »Changing the world through changing people.« Discover the power of this extraordinary educational project!
