Do you ever just feel lost?
We’re looking for experts in disorientation: together, we’ll explore what disorientation might feel like and what it actually sounds like. This free workshop at LeoLab is open to anyone who’d like to help shape this year’s annual exhibition by the foundations, on the theme of »Orientation in the Unknown«, through their thoughts, texts and voices.
Using techniques from creative writing and body-voice work, we’ll develop our own sound under the guidance of Julia Skindalat (Speech Sciences/Writing): we’ll write, explore, collect, vocalise and speak. This mix will then be turned into a sound collage, which will be featured in the upcoming annual exhibition. This includes recording your own voice in the TiQ sound studio!
The workshop is structured in stages and runs over several days. You’ll need to be available on the following dates: 26 June (1 pm–5 pm), 3 July, 9 July and 10 July (10 am–4 pm on each day).
