A for Applause – ABC Book Launch!

23 children, 26 pages, 52 illustrations – and lots of fun! Over the past two weeks, the pre-school children at the Amos Comenius nursery have created »their« ABC book under the guidance of the Education – Young Museum’s team. The soon-to-be primary school pupils mastered the various stages of the process with tremendous creativity and teamwork: from sketching and selecting the final image to designing the print templates and printing the pictures and letters. Together, they prepared the LeoLab for the launch event with parents and siblings – a lovely conclusion to the Wednesday afternoon with plenty of applause, hands-on activities and confetti! The resulting 26 pages full of puzzling ABC motifs are now being prepared for reproduction, so that the bound books can be presented at the »Zuckertütenfest«.
