The collections and exhibitions at the Historic Orphanage are curated by the Exhibition Office. Including the Cabinet of Art and Natural History it houses three of the Francke Foundations’ valuable historical collections. The Exhibition Office coordinates the conservation and management of the collections and is the primary contact for loan requests.
The Exhibition Office supervises three permanent exhibitions, one annual exhibition and various temporary exhibitions in the Historic Orphanage and Francke’s Home. It is the primary contact for collectors, experts and restorers.
In order to tell the story of the Francke Foundations outside Halle, too, traveling exhibitions have been developed in cooperation with various partners, which are on loan free of charge.
